my stop

I took a mental health day last week. It's so nice to enjoy the city at a different pace. After running some errands in the city and heading home, I took this picture at the F train stop near my house. The tracks are under construction, so there is a temporary set of stairs that take you above the station. It's usually pitch black outside or I am in too much of a rush to take in the scenery. Even a crappy iPhone photo can take me back to that moment where the spectacular view forced me to pause and tugged at my heart strings. Man, I love this city.
