martig farms

While visiting Ohio, we got to stop by a couple of the Martig family farms. 

Of course I made quick friends with one of the barn dogs. Getting outside the city always gives me puppy envy.

The larger of the two farms is a big dairy production. It was interesting to go behind the scenes and see how they harvest the milk and get it shipped out.

We got to see where they keep the baby cows in individual pens.

We also stopped by Kurt's parents' garden. They sent us back to NYC with an absurd number of ears of corn.

Next, we're off to Cleveland!
