400 and a {giveaway}!

Before we get down to business, I want to announce that I got word I passed my Structures ARE! This is big news because I was very worried about this test and it stressed me out for a long time. Apparently you can miss lots of questions and still pass! :) Five down, two more to go! It's been a long year of studying and I cannot tell you how ready I am to be done and be a real architect.

In other news, this is my 400th post!! Doesn't that seem crazy?! I've had four hundred things to write about on the internet?! Thanks for sticking with me. In honor of the momentous occasion, I have a little present for one lucky reader...

The only reason I know Christmas is in the near vicinity is because Kurt and I have have been looking at flights to Alabama over the holidays. They are so expensive that I think I might put off the purchase a little longer...procrastination is my middle name. Instead, I will start thinking about my Christmas card stash and what cute stationery I plan on sending out this year. This inevitably leads me to Rifle Paper Co. because everything illustrator Anna Bond touches is gold. (True story: I saw her at a store event once here in NYC and didn't know enough about her cards yet to gush. Good thing, it might have gotten embarrassing.) I can't get over how perfect her cards are...even if they are a little pricey when sending out bulk mailings. A few of my favorites:

and a few non-holiday faves:

I even love the non-stationery stuff!

Leave a comment telling me your favorite any boxed card set from the website (most are $18) and you may win it! Get your entries in by 12 noon EST on Friday, October 26th and I will choose one lucky winner! As always, thanks for reading!!

Update: this giveaway is now closed. Check out who won here!

  2. As I was scrolling through the list of boxed card sets, I kept saying "Ohhh that one's my favorite", and then I'd see another set and change my mind! I love them all, so this is such a tough decision... but if I could only pick one, it'd have to be The Folk Card set. So beautiful!
